Website and App Prototype

As part of my UI/UX Design Certification, I developed two high-fidelity digital prototypes: a mobile application and a responsive website. Each project followed a structured UX design process, beginning with user research, persona development, brand exploration, asset creation, site mapping, and wireframing before moving into interface design and prototyping.
Through these projects, I applied user-centered design principles to create digital experiences supported by research, clear information architecture, and intentional visual systems. The process strengthened my ability to evaluate user needs, organize content, and translate concepts into functional digital interfaces.
The skills developed through this certification continue to inform my professional work, particularly in website management, content organization, digital design, and creating user-focused experiences across web platforms.
urbMKT Concept
Fresh, sustainable foods can be difficult to source for many people in urban areas, not just due to scarcity but due to scattered, out of date, or nonexistent provider information. urbMKT offers a singular, well informed, easy to use mobile platform to source goods from local co-ops, farmers markets, artisans and independent sellers.
The app uses a simplified navigation menu directing the user to the primary functions: Map, Calendar, Favorites; And secondary functions: Notifications, Shopping List, Wallet, App Settings.
The app’s home screen is a GPS aided map, from here users see their location in relation to food providers. Users explore by selecting location pins to reach a food providers page. Provider pages detail hours of operation, foods available, contact and background information, and details on any events they may be hosting.
