As the Website Manager at TXD, I resolve issues as they arise. This particular landing page set clarifies the type of services the salespeople provide. Utilizing blocks our developer designed, I created the new page with a standard layout that includes product calls-to-action, service crosslinking, testimonials, and benefits. The Samples page is consistently in the top 10 pages visited on the site and has reduced unwanted contacts by roughly 80%, turning it into a highly effective landing page. After conducting the necessary research for the content of each landing page, I wrote all on-page copy for both landing pages.
Before there was a site for which to build a landing page, the company had a simple website with few features. All of the products were images linked to PDFs. There was no search function. There was no resource library—I could go on. I was hired initially as a showroom designer who would also manage the company's social media. So naturally, it fell on me to manage a messy website project that had already been ongoing for over a year.
The project was at a standstill, with a lot of animosity on both sides of the contract, mainly rooted in design and project mismanagement. There was no remedy to the lack of design once I found the cause was the developer's design team. So, I reeled in all the specifications and performed data collection and asset management to get the project into a launchable state. And then. I bid my time.
The document below is the RFQ to the developer I sought out to do the company rebuild once I got the go-ahead two years after the previous build. While I can't say the site design is my own, the dev team certainly saw precisely where I was going - I'm incredibly proud of this website.
