Project overview

Proprietary Product Catalog Redesign & Brand Differentiation Strategy

TXD previously relied on modified manufacturer catalogs for its proprietary product line, replacing manufacturer branding with the TXD logo. This approach created inconsistencies in the customer experience, made product differentiation difficult, and increased the risk of lost specifications during the sales process.

The 2019 catalog template provided a reliable foundation for product presentation but was designed for rapid production rather than long-term brand alignment. Its visual complexity and deviation from manufacturer standards limited opportunities to communicate TXD’s unique product positioning, expertise, and value proposition.

In spring 2024, I redesigned the catalog system in Adobe InDesign with a more streamlined, user-focused approach. The updated template introduced a minimalist visual framework, improved content hierarchy, and greater flexibility for developing original collection descriptions and branded messaging. This created a more cohesive experience for clients while helping position TXD’s proprietary products as distinct offerings rather than modified manufacturer materials.

The redesigned catalog system improved scalability, strengthened brand consistency, and established a repeatable content framework for future product launches and marketing initiatives.

Since standardization, I have created 40+ proprietary catalogs.
